EMIGRANT SONG SPRING-2018 TOUR: FEDOR is joined by NY-based bass guitarist GENE FELDMAN and two old allies from Russia: VANYA JUKE is a powerful blues and Roma seven-string guitar player. GARIK B. is known as one of the premier funk drummer in Russia, and all of these players are developing a following here in the United States. In particular, their collaboration with Fedor has already made the American audience count the days for them to strike again.Since the early 1990's, FEDOR (Fedor Chistyakov) has been known as the songwriter, front singer, and accordionist for the band Nol’ (Zero), a cult model of Russian rock music. His unique manner of singing and the fact that he played button accordion, an instrument atypical of rock music at the time, made the band stand out, to the extent of being featured as exemplary in Western documentaries on Russian Rock.
