team, founded by Zhenya Rock of Red Elvises - it is the legendary Fedor Chistyakov. Zhenya, has already been playing, composing and recording with Fedor, both of them great poet-singers, composers and amazing rock instrumentalists. Their collaborative repertoire features new renderings of Fedor’s and Balalayka’s songs, both old and new, all of them beautiful, vibrant, deeply influenced by American and Russian rock traditions, often bilingual and always abundant of funky and groovy guitar, button accordion and balalayka sounds. If there is a perfect place for their first mutual NY concert, then it is certainly the cult Drom, this welcoming home for all kind of world music extravaganzas.
