GRANT RULES (http://avtomatproductions.com/?p=26) Avtomat Grant Statement This statement establishes an annual grant to be given to aspiring musicians or artists, whose work promotes Russian-American culture. Awards are to be used in order to promote their art via means of studio recording or funds to cover the expenses of a tour or a movie shoot. Rules: The amount of the award will be $750 for 1st place, $500 for 2nd place and $250 for 3rd place The money is a share of the proceeds from the concert business and money raised from private donors The award will be given out on June 15st There is a limit of 50 candidates Each candidate is picked by the jury of the professionals and their peers via Internet buy voting using PayPal donations Winning artist promises to donate 10% of the first big release back to the grant Winning artist promises to stage at least one performance for the benefit of the grant Organizers have a right to reject any application that they don’t consider valid Rules can be changed at any time.
